The Learn to Sail course is based on Australian Sailing Start Sailing 1 and 2, and is designed for children 8 to 12 years of age.

Children need to be confident in the water and parents/guardians are required to stay at the club during the training session.

The course costs is $420 for the season, DAC will supply PFD, the training boats and classes are run by Accredited Australian Sailing instructors.

Who should do this course?

This course is designed for participants who wish to begin sailing in a dinghy. All the equipment and gear will be provided by your accredited Discover Sailing Centre.

Course Outcome

You will gain your Start Sailing 1 And Start Sailing 2 completion certificate.
